Education and Experience
Allison Doherty has over twenty-five years of experience in various industries providing financial, accounting, and operations expertise. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Louisiana State University with a BS in Accounting. Allison began her career as a financial analyst at Louisiana National Bank (currently Chase), and in public accounting at Postlethwaite and Netterville, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Since those formative years, Allison has been responsible for the financial direction for various size operations, from a start-up concern to a national distribution operation. Her industry experience includes wholesale distribution, retail, installation services, insurance, banking, and software sales and related services.
As a former chief financial officer, Allison possesses a breadth of experience in all aspects of financial management, including human resource administration, accounting, tax, risk management, cash management, organizational structures and policies, contract negotiation, strategic positioning and systems development and integration.
Allison is now providing her services in a consultant and contractor capacity with CrossRoads Professional Services, LLC, assisting businesses of all sizes to create and maintain a financial infrastructure necessary to support their growth.
Personal
Allison is married to Scott Ricca and has one “son” at home, a golden retriever named Gus. She also has a grown son, Ryan whose family includes Katie and son Jonas. Spending her time with her family is Allison’s most important priority, but she also enjoys biking, camping, kayaking, reading and karate.
Allison is a life-long Christian who believes that a person’s ability to realize her or his potential in life can only come from God’s provision. With the knowledge provided in the bible, wisdom imparted from the Holy Spirit, and community of believers, we are graced with ample resources to fulfill His will for our lives. His will is where we blossom and grow in our relationships, whether personal or business. Building relationships based on Christ and his message provides the foundation for any successful endeavor.
